One of the most important services MISU provides as a Students' Union is our support system. Each of these supports falls into one of three categories: Academic, Wellbeing and Financial. These supports are available to any student attending MIC, though do note that some services have limited capacity.
Academic Support
There are a variety of academic supports and links available through the Academic Life section of the MISU website. You can also contact Jayde, the MISU President (misupres@mic.ul.ie) directly for more information on the available academic supports.
Wellbeing Support
MISU offers a collection of supports relating to mental, physical and sexual health. You can find details about these services on the Wellbeing page. Your best contact for wellbeing supports is Nat, MISU Vice-President Student Experience & Wellbeing (misuvpsew@mic.ul.ie)
Financial Support
MISU has supports available to students experiencing financial hardship, more information on these can be found on the Financial Support page. If you'd like to speak to somebody directly, the Full-Time Officers in the SU (misupres@mic.ul.ie or misuvpsew@mic.ul.ie) are available to walk you through the available supports. Other SU staff members can also be contacted individually or through StudentsUnion@mic.ul.ie.
