On-Campus Parking
Please note that parking is only available in the free on-campus car park at the front of the campus (on the right as your drive in). Any vehicles parked illegally are liable to be clamped with a €120 release fee.
Vehicles parked on campus are done so at the owners' risk. Please do not leave any belongings or valuables on display in your vehicle.
Off-Campus Parking and Local Car Parks
If you need to park off-campus, download or visit Tipperary E-Parking. This app allows you to pay for parking from your phone and covers on-street parking and some nearby car parks.

The first walk around the MIC Thurles Campus can be confusing with the different room numbers so we've oulined everything below to help you navigate the campus during your first weeks at MIC Thurles.

MISU Office Location
You can find the MISU Office on the second floor of the main campus building, directly across from the main stairs. Our office number is P210 and our boardroom is number P211.
Where to Eat
There are a number of locations on the MIC Thurles Campus where students can enjoy a selection of food options or prepare food brought from home.
The Ref
The Ref can be found on the ground floor (Thurles),down the corridor to the right at the main stairs, and is managed by an external company - Master Chefs Hospitality.
They have a wide range of hot and cold options for you to choose from including carvery, soup, selection of cereals, freshly baked scones & pastries, and healthy salads. They also have a daily selection of sandwiches & wraps.
The Canteen also sells tea & coffee and they encourage you to bring your cup. If you don't have a cup please proceed to the till to pay for your coffee and they will supply you with a cup!
The Ref is open during term time from:
Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 3:00pm
Fridays - 7:30am to 1:30pm
Vending Machines
Vending machines offering a variety of items, including soft drinks, water, confectionery, and crisps can be found in The Ref and these vending machines are operated by Master Chefs Hospitality.
If you encounter any issues while using them, please dial the number on the machine or ask a member of staff at The Ref for assistance.
Microwaves
For those bringing their own food to college, there is one microwave available for use in the Students' Lounge beside the Ref.
Please exercise caution when using the microwave.
