On-Campus Parking

Parking on the Limerick Campus is limited and only available in the designated car parks listed below. Any vehicles parked illegally are liable to be clamped with a €120 release fee.

Car Park 1

The TARA Car Park is located across from the TARA building at the top of the roundabout. It costs €3, payable by card when leaving via the barrier.

Car Park 2

Located outside Summerville House, this car park is barrier operated and free. Spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are normally the first to fill up, so arrive early!

Car Park 3

MIC offers a free Park and Ride at the Limerick Greyhound Stadium. The bus leaves the stadium heading towards campus hourly from 8:30am to 17:30pm and returns from Campus towards the stadium every hour on the hour from 9:00am to 18:15pm. Click here for directions to the Park and Ride.

Overflow Car Park

The overflow car park is available for use when the others are full, and is located on the left as you enter campus via the Courtbrack Avenue entrance.

WhatsApp Channel

The on-campus car parks are monitored daily by MIC Security. Once the car parks have reached capacity, they will let us know.

We have set up a dedicated WhatsApp Channel where we will share when campus car parks are full.

Off-Campus Parking

Off-Campus Parking is offered by Limerick City & County Council in designated 2-hour zones on Ashbourne Avenue, South Circular Road and Summerville Avenue. 

Parking in these zones costs €2.00 for 2 hours and payment can be made via the Limerick e-Parking App or Online Here

Traffic Wardens frequently patrol the areas surrounding MIC, so please make sure you have paid online as you could receive a ticket and/or a fine.
