Get Organised

Illustrated Graphic of three paper organisers side by sideMake sure you can access course materials such as Moodle, e-books or any online tools your lecturers recommend. Notes are also invaluable at assessment times, so make sure you have note taking materials that suit you. Bright coloured notepads can be great visual aids!

Build a Routine

You don't want to spend all your time studying, so set a time and place to study and stick to it. Build the rest of your routine around that and ensure you include time for relaxation and socialising. Work smarter, not just harder! Remember to space out your study sessions!

Engage and Connect

Illustrated graphic of two peopleDon't be shy, engage with your lecturers, classmates and tutors. It won't just improve your learning, it'll also help you to build good relationships with your classmates. If you need help, ask for it, and never be afraid to ask questions!

Manage Your Time

Space out your study effectively so you have plenty of time to complete work before it's due, rather than cramming everything into the last few weeks of the semester. You'll learn better through spacing out your work.

Be Kind to Yourself
